Kayla has been in the field for 7 years. She graduated from Mercy College in 2016 with a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. From there she worked in Nahant, MA in the elementary school for 5 years. Kayla became a certified occupational therapy assistant and gained valuable experience in the public schools while attaining her masters in occupational therapy at New England Institute of Technology.

As an OTR she has gained experience in various settings including hospitals and sensory gyms. She is currently working back in the public school systems as well as My Pediatric OT Services. Kayla loves to engage children in creative and fun handwriting activities and also has experience with play-based therapy and therapeutic feeding interventions.

In her spare time she loves to take adventures with her husband and her 1 year old son. Her favorite food is SUSHI! 🍣
